Laurel-Snow State Natural Area is a stunning outdoor destination about 10 miles from Dayton, Tennessee. The area features a variety of ecosystems, including rich hardwood forests, steep gorges, and rocky outcrops, providing habitats for diverse wildlife. Popular among hikers, the trails offer picturesque views of the Laurel and Snow Creek waterfalls, the two features providing the name for the area. A short section of the Cumberland Trail is situated in Laurel Snow. The completed trail corridor will encompass the largest acreage within a Tennessee State Park unit, and extend 300 miles from Cumberland Gap on the Tennessee, Virginia, and Kentucky border to the Tennessee River Gorge, near Chattanooga.
